How to renew a domain
name?
You can renew the domain name via API, Private
Label or Quickstart tool in the Partner
Central.

How do I check the domain
name expiry date or list of domain names
that going to expire?
You may use Renewal Management, Retrieve
Expiring Domain Name List feature in
Partner Central. This feature enables you
to search for expiry date of:
domain names that going to expire within
30, 60 and 90 days
domain names that going to expire in
particular month and year
individual domain name
domain names of a User ID

Beside search via Renewal
Management, will WebNIC.cc notify me on
domain name list that going to expire?
Yes, you will receive the notification only
if you active the option of Partner Renewal
Notice Configuration feature. WebNIC.cc
will send email to partner with list of
domain names that expiring soon. Every 14
days, system will auto-send renewal notice
(domains expiring in 60 days) and expired
notice (domains already expired within last
30 days) to partners.
To configure this, click on Partner Renewal
Notice Configuration in Renewal Management.
Select 'enable' if you would like to receive
notice from WebNIC.cc. By default, status
will be 'enable'.

How am I going to notify
customers on domain names that going to
expire?
You may use Retrieve Expiring Domain
Name List or End User Renewal Notice Configuration
feature in Renewal Management to send out
the email notice to your customers. Retrieve
Expiring Domain Name List feature enables
you to manually select and send out the
notice to customers while End User Renewal
Notice Configuration feature will enable
WebNIC.cc system to auto-send out the notice
automatically.

How to use Retrieve
Expiring Domain Name List?
This feature is available in Renewal Management.
Retrieve the list as mentioned in Q2. After
retrieve list of domain name, select (tick
the box) the domain names and click on 'Send
Reminder E-mail'. WebNIC.cc system will
send out the email renewal notice within
24 hours.
To configure the Renewal Notice, please
refer to Q7.

Does WebNIC.cc provide
auto-send email renewal notice to my customers?
Yes, we do. Please refer to Q7 and Q8 for
the setting of feature.

How do we customize
the Renewal Notice?
Renewal Notice is enable you to customize
the message/content of email notice that
you would like to send to your end users
for domain name renewal. To customize the
Renewal Notice:
Select 'Customize Email' in Partner
Central
Select Default or Customize. By choosing
'Default', you will be using our default
Renewal Notice
to send to end customers. If you would
like to customize your own
email content, select
'Customize'. Click on 'Set'.
Select Renewal Notice, click on 'view'
System shall display you different e-mail
content textbox for you to customize the
content for renewal
notice.
Other than the e-mail content, other
customizable options are Partner e-mail
address (From:),
Partner (company) name and E-mail subject.
The renewal notice can be sent to your
end customers use Retrieve Expiring Domain
Name List feature or setting of End User
Renewal Notice Configuration feature.

What problems could
delay or prevent the transfer of a domain?
Select End User Renewal Notice Configuration
in Renewal Management. WebNIC.cc provides
you the option for system to auto-send renewal
notice to end-user. You may determine the
schedule of system to send notice for expiring
or expired domain names:
90 days before expiry
60 days before expiry
30 days before expiry
5 days before expiry
1 day after expiry
System will auto-send the renewal notice
based on the options selected by you.
Exp: If 90 days and 30 days are selected,
a domain name that with expiry date 1st
March 2004 will receive 1st renewal notice
on 4th Dec 2003 (90 days before expired)
and 2nd notice on 2nd Feb 2004 (30 day
before expired). To customize the Renewal
Notice, please refer to Q7.
